Men’s guide to women

blog post

It’s funny how most guys have absolutely no idea how to win the heart of a woman. There are, of course, exceptions… but most of them seem to be incredibly shallow and ignorant when it comes to the whole procedure of enticing (let alone keeping) somebody. Here are a couple of useful ideas, had to jot them down just for myself, in case I’d forget them again.

1. When a woman says “no”, it doesn’t  necessary mean “never”, it’s just that you have to show you care and fight for the heart of the lady. There is nothing more disappointing than a “head-over-heels-in-love” knight that gives up the fight after the first slight sign of rejection.

2. Don’t be “too much”. Corny text messages or sugary compliments can be more than annoying, we are tired of “big words” from male mouths. Just SHOW you do care: read our blogs, try to understand and remember important things we said, pay attention to what our body says while kissing.

3. Make decisions, for heaven’s sake, it can be a real turn-off when we have to decide about everything, even the evening program or the dvd we would rent for the evening.

4. Be a man, don’t complain all the time. Show your emotions, feel free to cry if needed… but don’t indulge in self-pity day and night, it’s disappointing and frustrating for you as well as for us.

5. Be patient, don’t lie about your feelings, don’t say rude things to us. (One of my best friends was dating an asshole, and when they slept together for the first time, the loser made the following cruel remark: “Shit, your tits are so small they almost don’t exist, can it be that you only have male hormones in your body because of your strong, characteristic personality?” – what a pathetic asshole, how can you say something like that? If you choose a girl, love and accept her the way she is!)

And yes, perhaps this last sentence is the key rule after all…
