Funny remark of the week – boy-selection

Ildi is a beautiful, strong, confident woman in her late thirties, working in a responsible, high-ranking job. She is the instructor of one of my Tuesday-courses and she makes us do crazy things like writing a report about a MOVIE (not an event, lol) and similar mindless stuff to test our abilities and creativity.

This week she made us do a press-conference-like interview with a randomly selected guy from our group, and gave us 5 minutes to write an article based on it. (It’s a very typical Ildi-like task, haha.) Somebody asked the following very brainy, clever and relevant question:

“And when were you born?”

“March 12th, 1983″ – answered the guy.

Ildi’s face brightened up in a second: “So was my husband, by the way!”

Somebody: “In 1983?”

“No, come on!” – Ildi exclaimed. We all laughed. Then she blushed and burst out laughing.

“Actually… in 1980!”

Then we couldn’t stop laughing for a minute, especially when Ildi added: “Don’t count, it’s 10 years!”

Now, seriously: the age difference did not really surprise me in itself as my mother was also 10 years older than my dad, and they had been happily married for 16 years. But the truth is that THE MAJORITY OF modern guys are so damn immature, childish, selfish and only living for their own pleasure and immediate gratification… that it is hard to believe that an intelligent, highly successful, superpretty, confident WOMAN could find somebody in this agegroup to look up to. And they must have been together for at least 5 years once they have a four-year-old son. So, what does 22 year-old guy possess to capture such a woman?? I immediately got very interested:

“Ildi, come and sit in the interview-counter instead of Seweryn, we will continue the interview with you!”

“Oh no… haha! After this. Okay, well, maybe next time…”

All in all, the truth is that there still is hope, fellow-female creatures. Not all young men are immature, selfish and stupid. Keep searching!
