Since you may not all read Níniel’s blog, I’m going to copy her precious entry about our crazyyy adventures in München – spiced up with my remarks through my own filter, lol. :)))

This entry will be about our adventures in München with Louise and the travel there… mainly . (Well, you already know what happened before I got to her and after we were off to see VNV :).)

Let’s start from the beginning…

I came to Budapest 2 nights before our trip to ensure I packed everything necessary. Needless to say I didn’t actually pack anything those days, only on the day of the journey. Louise arrived to my place on Thursday night (it was actually Friday already) after a long discussion over the phone about where she should get off and how she will see me… well things don’t go smoothly by us so I had to realize the bus stop is not where it should be since they are rebuilding the whole road so I went to get her from the replacement bus stop… 10 minutes walk further… well she arrived safely and we got back to my place and chatted for at least 2 hours more (she arrived at 1 at night so that was quite long) which didn’t really make my sister happy, but she survived.

The next day we got up and I started packing. I ended up with 2 huge bags since I carried blankets and clothes and everything… I had to pick up a shirt for Iriz and some food to eat and we had to get to the train station in time which of course proved to be a little difficult. We left home at 11 and I thought that will be enough time to do all these things but it wasn’t so we parted at halftime and Louise went to get some drinks and cigarettes and I went to get the shirt. I ended up running to the train but we reached it in time.
The journey was okay air conditioning worked and there were some nice people in our cabin (or how is that called). We had a nice conversation with a family from Jordan about economics, politics and religion, comparing the two countries and convincing each other how we should visit each others home countries.  This made the time flow very fast so all of a sudden we were entering München and I felt the excitement of arriving home again (even though I still don’t live there *sigh*).

We found a place on couchsurfing to stay at and since I am blonde now (ooohh you don’t even know that yet! I’ll show u some pics of that as well) I forgot to write down the address or their phone number but I remembered the stop with the S-Bahn we had to get to. So we went to Neuaubing hoping that my instincts will guide us… they did. We found a netcafé and we were going to check my mail for 25 cents when a man came out and asked if we were hungarians in hungarian… how lucky. He let me check my mail and gave me his number. He works there legally which is a nice info for me and he said it is not so hard to get a job there at all. So we called the place we were going to, they gave us the directions and we were on our way. I have to say I had a bad feeling about it while we were approaching it but nothing compared to what we found… Tha gate was opened inviting everyone in, which is possibly okay in that area but still… We entered and found a bit messy garden and a house with a glass door. One of the inhabitants opened it for us and we entered… we greeted the people and waved hello to the almost even visible smell that dwellt in the house (well, I must say that it was a heavy smell of sweat mixed with the unique odour of hasish…). Let alone the dirt… Okay, many people lots of dirt but still how can they bear it… I instantly started to freak out and avoided touching anything… Then we discussed an escape route but had no idea where else to spend the night and how to serve the thought nicely to the otherwise quite friendly inhabitants… Things only got worse when something fell in the room next to us and one of the guys calmly said “Oh, it’s the mice…”
THE WHAT????

So I wrote to 2 people on Couchsurfing who were a lot cleaner than these and even called one of them to help (yeah, that’s what I love about Níniel, among many other things: her excellent problem-solving abilities XD), but no-one could give us a place for that night. We had to stay there. We found out that there is a tent in the garden which sounded a lot better then a smelly house filled with mice, so we moved out there. I lit a fire in the garden and wished I would survive the night. At around 1 we went to sleep in the tent. 30 minutes later I woke up frozen and lit the fire again where I spent the rest of the night falling asleep and waking up again keeping the fire alive (burning everything they were kind enough to prepare for us next to the fireplace). There were of course showers in the morning (it actually rained cats and dogs!) which chased me back to the tent I might rename freezer. In the time I was outside Louise wrapped herself in all the blankets we brought and she was still freezing. As soon as I decided that I am totally frozen I went in the house deciding that suffocating is still better than freezing. I should have bought a gasmask sometime… it is so industrial and it would have saved me from the lethal smell in there. But at least it was warm inside. The American guy who was quite nice woke up and tried to warm me up and then the house started living and I got a totally nice fresh coffee which helped a lot and they also opened all the doors and windows which helped the smell… By the time Louise awoke the house was almost bearable. She drank a coffee as well and we took our luggage inside and went to town. We had Bratwurst-sandwich for breakfast (I had white she had red) on the stairs of a catholic church which sympathized with the poor middle- and eastern-european countries. We thought that it is nice since we were nice and comfy on their stairs (and there was no other place to sit at, anyway, lol).

I got a call from Iriz that morning that we can actually stay at hers which was a very pleasant surprise and made me very happy. We walked around Karlsplatz, Marienplatz and all the tourists (we found a hungarian group as well and listened to the tourguide speaking for about 5 minutes) and then we ended up at Viktualienmarkt where we found the perfect lunch. Flatbread for 50 cents, grilled mushrooms, basil cream-cheese, tomatoes and mozzarella and tzaziki which we ate on the grass of Gärtnerplatz in the shade of a tree. After lunch we went back to our stuff and then I made some pictures of the house (AFTER the guys have cleaned up most of the mess):

(Let me add that we did not dare to take any pictures upstairs, let alone the bathroom… and we had  reason for that, lol)

Remember this is the state AFTER they actually cleaned up. Imagine how it looked before….

So we moved to Iriz and had a shower and stuffed all our smelly clothes in one bag that I still didn’t dare to open… after that things were nice…

We went to Nerodom in the evening and partied till morning and I want to move asap cos I love that place just perfectly the thing I like in a party.  (Wah, they played great songs, you could actually set up your own wish playlist for the dj, and yeah, they played pretty much everything I’d asked for! *drools* I’m surprised I didn’t die of muscle pain the next day!!!)

The next day we slept till 1pm and then went to town. The market was unfortunately closed but we went to the Gothic Flohmarkt  (fleemarket) in Nerodom and Louise bought a top a dress and shoes for 17 Euros alltogether. Nice price…  (So yeah, it was a good idea not to get a public transportation pass for 12 Euros - especially that we ran out of money and luckily did not bump into any controlleours throughout the 4 days *lucky-lucky*).

Then we went home for dinner, and I guess you all know the rest…. (see previous entry :D)
