Nostalgia
Woah, what a great party we had yesterday, on A38 Ship! Sanguis in Nocte – Garden of Eden – De Facto, like in the good old days when Árpi still played with De Facto. This time he showed up in the colours of Garden of Eden… and all those memories were back! Seven years is a long time – even though it’s not 100%-ly my type of music.
Still… most of these songs have a special meaning to me because I have known these people for ages and we went through a lot together. None of them are perfect but there is something special about their energies I definitely have great respect for.
The whole night was truly wonderful. I spent most of the time in the backstage area with the musicians where we could order booze for half price. Everybody was there; Gyula, Attila, Zoli, Tamás, Binci, Misi… everybody really, and I had a nice long chat with all of them, it felt like home.
So, first I drank my own bottle of Kalinka vodka and then I moved on to cocktails. I have never had any of these feminine cocktails rich girls normally drink in movies, so I thought to myself “I’m 25 and make my own money, why wouldn’t I get myself a fucking Mojito? I deserve it” – and so I did. It was kind of a disapointment though, it was mainly mineral water and lime and barely contained any alcohol (I had to spice it up with my own deciliter of vodka). Then somebody advised me to get Long Island which is said to contain like four different kinds of booze with some Coke, so I went for it and it tasted really fine, more like a drink and not just water. :)))
The morning was cold, windy and messy, but at least we went to Oktogon to have a 30 cm-long Subway and it was a perfect ending of a perfect night… not even the fact that we missed the first bus broke my spirit.
And: no hangover today! Seems like cocktails are good for something at least.
